The Michelin Guide's review
This large pedestrian promenade shaded by palm trees is one of the locals' favourite spot to grab a drink or just take a walk around Phnom Penh. The day usually starts with the old-timers doing their tai-chi on the grass, followed by the joggers later on and then the aerobics enthusiasts in the afternoon. Sisowath Quay follows the Tonlé Sap river for 1km/0.6mi until it joins up with the Mekong and Bassac rivers. This cruciform design is what gave the city its original name: Chaktomuk or "four arms".
