The Michelin Guide's review
This UNESCO-listed Lutheran church, built by a master carpenter, has a Greek cross layout with arms of equal length and an octogonal dome. The ribs of the vault are decorated with ochre and red details; the rest is in patinated natural pine. The interior was decorated by local artists. The bays were extended in 1821 by the master builder's grandson; he added a bell tower, which was joined to the church by a narrow passage. The roofs are covered with triangular shingles.
