The Michelin Guide's review
In this museum you can explore a large section devoted to Etruscan and Roman archaeology. Most notably, it has some remarkable funereal urns found in the tomb of Cai Cutu, an untouched Etruscan burial place used between the 3C and 1C BC. The antiquities collection includes the Cippo di Perugia (3-2C BC), a stone stele on whose two faces is one of the longest surviving texts written in the Etruscan language known to exist.
