The Michelin Guide's review
This handsome circular building with an elegant dome has a remarkable urn on the top of the tower. Once the Water Works, the building, designed in 1810 by the Director of the Academy, was completed around 1930. It houses the Fergusson Gallery which displays changing exhibitions of works by John Duncan Fergusson (1874-1961), an eminent member of the Scottish colourist movement.
