Established in a former Augustinian convent, the museum of art and archaeology of Perigord boasts one of the major prehistoric collections in France, with engraved objects from the Magdalenian period found in the Dordogne. The non-European ethnographic section showcases objects from everyday life and sculptures from Africa, Oceania and America, while the fine and decorative arts section presents 16C-20C works in chronological order.
