The Michelin Guide's review
Palafox Street, the commercial spine of Pensacola since the late-19C retains the look of earlier days. Though fires and hurricanes have destroyed some of the old structures, many remain intact and others have been restored. Stroll the streets leading down to the water to see the Beaux-Arts-style Blount Building (1907), the Spanish Baroque Saenger Theatre (1925) the massive 1887 Escambia County Courthouse (1887) and the Empire Building (1909), also called Seville Tower.
