The Michelin Guide's review
This defensive structure was built in the 13C and served as a refuge for the bishops during repeated burgher rebellions. It is connected to Niederhaus Castle. From the belvedere, there are magnificent views of the old town between the Danube and the Inn. Inside, the Oberhausmuseum retraces the history of craft industries, vernacular art, religious life as well as the history of the town.
