The Michelin Guide's review
The Palais-Bourbon, built in 1722 by the duchess of Bourbon, daughter of Louis XIV and Mme de Montespan, later belonged to Louis XV then to the prince de Condé, who added the hôtel de Lassay. Confiscated under the Revolution, it served the Conseil des Cinq-Cents, then, under the Restoration, it housed legislature. On the side facing the Seine, the façade is decorative. In the interior, the salle des Pas-Perdus (ceiling by Horace Vernet) and the superb library decorated by Delacroix.
