The Michelin Guide's review
Since 1986, the huge main hall of the former Orsay railway station has been the home of art collections covering the period 1848 to 1914, which complement those of the Louvre and the Pompidou centre. The Orsay houses the world's finest collection of Impressionist works: paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, drawings and photographs by famous names such as Millet, Pissarro, Monet, Manet, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Cézanne, and Van Gogh.
