The Michelin Guide's review
This long street is lined with old mansions and elegant boutiques. The Four Seasons fountain, sculpted by Bouchardon, stands in front of the house occupied by Alfred de Musset from 1824-39. Further along, admire the Hôtel de Courteilles (or de Rochechouart, 1778, at n° 110) and the Hôtel de Rothelin (n° 101), both of which housed ministries, the Hôtel de Villars (1712, at n° 118) and the Hôtel de Noirmoutiers (1722, at n° 138), the residence of the prefect of the Île-de-France region.
