The Michelin Guide's review
The mansion and the orangery which leads to the Place des Vosges were bought by Sully, a minister under Henri IV, in 1634. Nowadays it is partly occupied by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. The courtyard is a remarkable example of the Louis XIII style. Carefully restored (notably the painted joisted ceilings in the main residence), the buildings now house the bookshop of the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
