The Michelin Guide's review
This tower crowned with a machicolation and built in 1409 is the last vestige of the former Hôtel d'Artois, built on the ramparts of Philippe Auguste. It is the highest medieval civilian tower of Paris (23m/75ft). As you climb the stairs, you will discover the Flamboyant Gothic-style sculpted vault.
