Carriage Museum
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This museum, housed in the stables of Count Károlyi's castle, is a fine building with a red Cifra marble base. Learn about the stages in the manufacture of horse-drawn vehicles made for long-distance journeys, romantic rides or ceremonial processions. Every related trade is portrayed here: cartwrights, saddlers, farriers, decorators, carpenters and cabinetmakers. Country wagons, carts, charabancs and carriages of varying levels of luxury are also displayed here.
