Paphos Fort

The Michelin Guide's review
Its silhouette rises up at the tip of the long seaside promenade, making it a fine subject for photographers at sunrise and sunset. The first fortress dates from the Byzantines; the Franks rebuilt it in the early 13C and the Ottomans gave it its current appearance. The inside is of little interest insofar as it is empty. But the view from the ramparts is lovely.
