The Law Courts (1218), aptly known as the Palazzo della Ragione (Palace of Reason), are remarkable for their loggias, roof in the shape of a ship's keel and huge Salone entirely decorated with 15C frescoes. The latter depict the Labours of the Months, the Liberal Arts, the Trades and the Signs of the Zodiac.
