The drive from Osoyoos to Keremeos first traverses desert foothills west of town, climbing up to a low pass and descending back into the Similkameen River Valley, a pristine vale lined with tall cottonwoods, vineyards and orchards, pressed between the sheer ramparts of the Cathedral Mountains.
