The Michelin Guide's review
The two large chambers in the Muang On caves are home to impressive limestone concretions and a few statues of Buddha (for Buddhists, caves are considered high places of worship, with the Earth being a symbol of serenity which is conducive to meditation). As you exit the caves, take a few moments to enjoy the unbeatable views of the surrounding mountains and the lake opposite.
