The Michelin Guide's review
Block Island attracts many summer visitors, who dock in Old Harbor, the streets of which make up the only village in the area. They come to take in the island's unspoilt nature, its wild coastline, its beautiful windswept beaches, its hills and pastures reminiscent of the bocage with their pretty stone walls, and the photogenic lighthouse. Block Island, "one of the last great places", can be explored in one day on foot, bicycle or scooter.
