The Michelin Guide's review
The brick-built Gothic cathedral was constructed between the 13C and 15C on the site of an earlier building destroyed by two fires. The crypt contains the relics of St Canute (Knud) and his brother Benedikt. Behind the altar is a magnificent triptych (Claus Berg, 1520), comprising more than 300 carved figures. The wrought-iron grilles, 17C bronze fonts and an 18C Rococo pulpit are also worth seeing.
