The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Housed in a beautiful 18C house, where the Portuguese painter Eduardo Malta lived (one room is dedicated to him), the municipal museum exhibits around a hundred works dating from the 14C to 18C, including a Calvary made of ivory and ebony from the 17C from the Church of Santa Maria, and a portrait and a still life by Josefa de Óbidos. A room is also dedicated to two 16C Portuguese painters, Diogo Teixeira and Belchior de Matos.
