The Michelin Guide's review
From the Grimselpass (2 165m), or, to be precise, from the promontory located behind the Hotel Grimselblick, the view takes in the remote region where the Rhône originates. From left to right: the snow-covered Galenstock, the face of the Rhône Glacier, the Furka Pass and the long, blunt crests that stretch between the Upper Valais and the valley of the Toce River in Piedmont. Towards the northwest, the face of Lauteraarhorn (alt. 4 042m) looms in the background.
