The Michelin Guide's review
Furka Pass (2,431m), the highest point on the wide longitudinal furrow that cuts through the Swiss Alps from Martigny to Coire, is a popular route for tourists travelling between French-speaking Switzerland, the crossroads of Andermatt and the Grisons. Since 1982, a railway tunnel goes under the pass, connecting Oberwald to Realp.
