This gently sloping street, both sides of which are lined with attractive Baroque palazzi, terminates at the top end with Montevergini church, its attractive curving façade enclosed by two bell towers by Sinatra. In May, for the famous Infiorata, Via Nicolaci is covered with a huge carpet of colourful flowers created by artists who use petals to create stunning works of art, instead of their usual brushes and paint.
