The Michelin Guide's review
This 900-year-old square is the site of Norfolk's largest market. Six days a week, local producers sell their goods here. The market square is bordered to the north by the chequered façade of the Guildhall. To the west is the modern City Hall building. To the south is the Church of St Peter Mancroft, the city's largest parish church, which has a magnificent stained-glass window and some 15C baptismal fonts. To the east, the Art Nouveau-style Royal Arcade leads to the castle.
