Western Development Museum (North Battleford)
Michelin Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Devoted to agriculture, this branch of the Western Development Museum (one of four in the province, the others are in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon and Yorkton), displays a large collection of agricultural machinery and domestic artefacts used on farms in the 1920s. Outside, a farm and village from 1925 have been reconstructed. Note the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the thatched dacha of one of the early Ukrainian settlers. The village is also home to stores, a police station and craft workshops.
