The Michelin Guide's review
Just south of Brooklyn Bridge, the original port of New York, founded in the 17C, was the starting point of its economy. Today many of the former warehouses and buildings have been renovated for commercial use, particularly on Fulton Street, Water Street and Front Street. Seaport's cobblestone streets, wide-plank wharves, historical sites and fun museums are always sure to attract visitors.
