The Michelin Guide's review
Carnegie Hall is without a doubt New York's most iconic concert hall. Financed by steel baron and son of Scottish immigrants, Andrew Carnegie, it was inaugurated with great fanfare on the May 91891, conducted by Tchaikovsky. Inside are three halls whose programs range from classical and jazz to world music and pop.
