The Michelin Guide's review
Moored up at the quayside, the remarkable Dunbrody is a life-size replica of a 54m-long three-masted ship of the type that would have transported immigrants across the Atlantic during the Great Famine. The original vessel was built in Quebec in 1845 to transport goods and merchandise. Waxwork figures give an insight into the hardships endured on board the ship and an exhibition tells the story of the successes met by the Irish diaspora in the United States.
