Rue des Érables
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The village is home to an exceptional concentration of stone houses. At first glance, the houses on Rue des Érables, including Fiset house (N° 679) and Pothier house (N° 549), both built around 1800, seem to have been built with a single floor. They are actually comprised of two or three storeys, because they were designed to take advantage of the hilly terrain that slopes down to the river. The seigneurial manor (N° 500), erected in 1835, reflects Quebec's vernacular architecture.
