The Michelin Guide's review
Futatsu-game and Ono-game, two superb rocky sites linked by a footpath, are at the northeastern tip of the island. The first site is named "two turtles" because of its natural shape. It also boasts a very popular beach. Inevitably, given the size of the second (167m), the locals believe that it houses a deity. On the path between the two sites, you pass Sai no kawara, a natural cave containing hundreds of jizo statuettes (bodhisattva which protects dead children), symbolising the children thought to make their last stop here on their way to heaven.
