Royal palace of Naples

The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the early 17C by Domenico Fontana, the royal palace has been remodelled several times, but its façade is more or less true to its original aspect. It is surrounded by gardens to the rear and the complex was once home to the Royal porcelain and tapestry manufacture, a print works, a library and an academy. An immense staircase leads to the apartments and the Palatine chapel, which are lavishly decorated.
