Grotte Sarrazine
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The Grotte Sarrazine is particularly impressive in dry weather, when the low level of resurgence means you can take in the height of the cavern (90m) and the size of its enormous natural porch, hewn out of a sheer, wooded cliff. When it rains the resurgence, which is also fed by a diversion of the Lison, is so abundant that it prevents access to the foot of the cavern. In any case only very experienced potholers should attempt to explore the cave.
