Designed by Héré, Alliance square is surrounded by 18C private mansions and decorated with a fountain by Cyfflé commemorating the alliance signed between Louis XV and Marie-Theresa of Austria in 1756. This small, green square is also the location of the Hôtel d'Alsace mansion, where you will see an old torch extinguisher next to the entrance.
