Within the Hallyeo Maritime National Park, the mountainous island of Namhae-do offers lovely landscapes along the road that hugs the southern coast: rocky coastline, sandy beaches, paddy fields, garlic fields, terraced tea plantations... a fine setting for the authentic little villages, which include the remarkable Darangyi.
