The Michelin Guide's review
This Roman Catholic church, consecrated in 1939, has two towers (55 m) surmounted by crosses, designed by Ralph Byrne, with a Classical portico above the main door. The tympanum contains a sculpture in Portland stone by Albert Power. The mosaics in the chapels of St Anne and St Patrick are by a Russian, Boris Anrep. The cathedral stands at the end of the road, in parkland extending down to the canal.
