  The Michelin Guide's review
Situated at an altitude between 900m-1 300m the Boloven plateau covers an area of 5 000km² and can be visited from Pakse. This verdant plateau takes its name from the Laven, one of the country's ethnic groups, and is known for coffee cultivation. Its dense forests are dissected by rivers and dotted with attractive waterfalls (tad), some of which have water all year round, while others are only worth visiting during the wet season.
