The Michelin Guide's review
Ulster American Folk Park is devoted to the 18-19C emigration to America of around 250,000 Irish of Scottish origin. The park faithfully charts the lives of the Irish emigrants. Thatched cottages, a blacksmith's, weaving looms and a school are brought back to life thanks to guides in period costume. Similarly, life in America is recreated with log cabins, a corn silo, meat smoking hut and a barn.
