House-Museum of Viktor Vasnetsov
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
The atmosphere in this green and white wooden house built in 1894 by the artist Viktor Vasnetsov (1848-1926) is reminiscent of a Russian fairy tale. Specialising in historical and mythological representations, he was particularly well-known for his illustrations of fairy tales and his interest in architecture led him to design, in addition to his own house, the Russian pavilion at the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1898 and, several years later, the famous Tretyakov Gallery.
