This museum, housed in two side wings of the "Front" Gate, is partly devoted to the Kolomenskoye estate. It exhibits a collection of 52 ancient icons, clock mechanisms and, above all, the model of the famous palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. Also look out for the painted chest with portraits of 64 Russian princes from the Viking Riourik (862-879) to Tsar Peter III (1728-1762).
