The Michelin Guide's review
The largest of seven natural morainal lakes in Grand Teton National Park, Jackson Lake-16mi long and 8mi wide-was enlarged by a succession of dams built at its Snake River outlet. Of the lake depth of 438ft, only the last 39ft were added when the dams raised the water level. Boat tours (90min) are offered daily in summer.
