The Michelin Guide's review
This winding scenic drive, from the southwest outskirts of the city of Montreal to the westernmost tip of the island of Montreal, commands fine views of the banks of the St. Lawrence River and Lac Saint-Louis shores and borders affluent residential districts interspersed with numerous parks, equipped with picnic spots and playgrounds. First named Boulevard LaSalle, in LaSalle, the street becomes Boulevard Saint-Joseph, in Lachine, then Chemin du Bord-du-Lac between Dorval and Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue.
