The Michelin Guide's review
Dominating the north side of the vast square, Montreal's main branch of Can-ada's oldest bank presents an imposing façade, evoking the Pantheon in Rome. Along with the Bonsecours market, the edifice (1847) is one of Montreal's finest examples of the Neoclassical style. The bank's small museum features displays showcasing the bank's history, bank notes of different denominations and a collection of whimsical money boxes.
