The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 16C using material from the castle that was destroyed in 1508, this church was largely rebuilt in the 18C, particularly the exterior. Note the elegant brick tower with bays framed by azulejos and the dome of varnished ceramic. Take the time to wander through the steep streets lined with whitewashed houses, offering views of the church and belltower. Calle Beato Miguel Molina is home to the Museum of History.
