The Michelin Guide's review
A UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve since 1978, Mont Saint Hilaire's sheer slopes peak at 415m, above the Richelieu Valley. The most imposing of the Monteregian Hills is carpeted with forests over almost 11km2, while its lower slopes grow with apple trees that contribute to the region's diversity. Property of McGill University, Mont Saint Hilaire can be explored via 25km of paths dotted with summits offering wide panoramic views.
