The Michelin Guide's review
All that remains of this old 6C monastery is its half-ruined round tower which overlooks the cemetery. In the latter, note the three carved Celtic crosses which are considered to be among the most beautiful in Ireland. Their low-relief carvings represent scenes from the Old and New Testaments and would have been used to teach young novices stories from the Bible.
