This museum exhibits objects from ships that have been shipwrecked off Mokpo, including celadon ceramics, navigational instruments, everyday objects. The partially recovered hull (34 m) of the Sinan, a Chinese ship that sank off the Sinan coast in 1323, is masterfully displayed here. The daily life of local fishermen and the evolution of Korean vessels throughout history are also presented.
