The Michelin Guide's review
The National Bison Range reserve was created in 1908 to protect a small herd, which had survived successive massacres of the species, and thus prevents their extinction. Today, over 350 of these powerful cattle roam the prairies in peace. To learn more about them, go to the Visitor Center but if you want to see them for real next to mouflons, wapitis or goats from the Rockies, just follow the Red Sleep Mountain Drive that will take you through fantastic scenery.
