The Michelin Guide's review
The Alcázar is the Miravalle Palace designed by the Habsburg heir. A terrace runs along the outside of the imperial couple's reconstructed apartments decorated with Empire furniture. The upper floor contains the apartments of President Porfirio Díaz, in the same grandiose European style, affording a superb panorama of the city. A large turn-of-the-century stained-glass window runs along the east façade on the other side of the Salón de Embajadores (Hall of Ambassadeors). A window here provides a beautiful view of the Paseo de la Reforma.
