Paseo de la Reforma

The Michelin Guide's review
This very long and wide avenue is lined with ultramodern buildings housing airline companies, banks and first-class hotels, while the tree-lined side lanes along the avenue create a green link between the Tlatelolco (to the northeast) and the Bosque de Chapultepec (to the southwest). Commissioned in the 19C by Emperor Maximilian, the Paseo de la Reforma is punctuated by vast roundabouts and looks rather like the great avenues of Europe. The Zona Rosa, at its southern end, will appeal to those in search of a little nightlife.
