The Michelin Guide's review
The town hall with its sober Louis XV façade, the former guardroom, its pediment decorated with trophies, and the former Parliament stand around this square, which was laid out in the 18C by Pierre-François Blondel. In the centre stands the statue of Marshal Fabert (1599-1662). A model of the square before demolition work was carried out in 1754 can be seen in the cathedral.
